On 24-25th of January 2022, Estonian Human Rights Centre is organizing an international conference on hate speech. Conference is part of The Open Code for Hate-Free Communication (Op:Code) project. The project is co-funded by the European Union’s Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014–2020), and the National Foundation of Civil Society of Estonia. On 25th of January LIVERTE partner Liisa Linna is going to moderate a workshop on a topic “Hate speech in media”, where the self-regulation mechanisms for both journalism and social media shall be explored and discussed.
